I flashed my IHAS-124B drive with the guide provided on this site, and every game I start to burn it stops at 40% every time. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
This is what the log shows on ImgBurn

What brand of discs are you using? I wouldn't go as far as Modking and say that burns "will" fail if you aren't using Verbatim discs, but not using Verbatim discs "can" be the cause which is why c4eva recommends that you use them.

I am using the same Memorex dvd's you are using in your guide.
- Fails to recognize disc if I try to play it.
- Installs always fail around 47-48%.
- Install using retail and play using the backup gets "Unable to authorize disc" error.

You must be mistaking me for someone else mate, cos I don't use Memorex. I've never used anything other than Verbatim discs.
