Can American Xbox work on European 220W ?

Hello, I bought my nephew Xbox 360 for his 18 birthday. We picked it up in Canada where we leave and where power is 110W. He's in Poland where we'll ship it to him and the power there is 220W. Can the power brick can transform the power to the Xbox or does he need european brick or power tranformator ? here's a pic of the power brick that comes with the system.
