If that message was for me I'll try to install it to the HDD tomorrow and I'm getting high PI after 50% with my cheap discs. I'll just get verbs if it doesn't install since I've tried the cheap disc tutorial as it is and got a lower PI max but a way higher PI average which makes it worse.

Hello Guys,

I have the iHAS124b with modded firmware, latest version of imgburn. I backed up my COD MW3 disc
I purchased yesterday using XBC and the 0800 drive with the V3 firmware.

Trying to write the image to a blank DL disc using imgburn (settings are correct)
and an iHAS1124b (modded ALOS firmware).

I still get the error message that the image is too large to fit the disc.

I cancelled the write.

Should I be seeing the message?

Will the modded iHAS writer just write the whole image?

I don't want to write only part of the image, I want to be sure imgburn will do 100% of the image.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have just got my ihas124 drive running through my win7 laptop via molex power ,usb to sata.Firmware flashed (not cross flashed)with modded burnermax to enable 2.4 burns on cheaper media(Aones dl)imgburn-latest version i have enabled opc force hyper tuning, online hyper tuning smart burn.Calculate optimum for layer break. Now i burnt the image and verified through imgburn with no errors. So far,so good. However running the disk at 2.4x through Kprobe im a little unsure about what the results mean.Yes they are a lot of peaks. Not too sure if this will be xbox live safe..as safe as it can be anyway. These are the results from the test.

As many people have said on here the only true image which is playable online is through the burner max drives. If you are content with playing offline and truncate your disks with only 97% of the disk burnt and no copy protection on later titles and forza now, then fine go ahead. For multiplayer fanatics who enjoy online play you have to burn 100% of the image to minimalise the risk of bans/flags.

Try and reflash your ihas drive and then reboot. The message should not appear after you have done this.Let me know if it is resolved.

So far only Forza 4 has been confirmed to need a 100% burn.
that's not true! The trunicate method works for most 360 users but certain 360 drives are having trouble playing games such as goldeneye, and BF3. I have 3 xbox's and only 1 of them is playing Goldeneye using the trunicate method, once i burnt it at 100% it plays fine. My kprobe results on the trunicate burn were well within the standard range. Search this forum and you will find other users with this problem as well using trunicate. Most problems ppl are having with burner max is getting it to burn fully with proper kprobe results, once this is reached your game will work
I agree 100% with scoobpoo the way to go is with burnermax. If u play offline and not bothered about civ checks or random kickbacks to the dash cause you have trucated the disk then fine carry on.If multiplayer is your thing online you have to future protect yourself with the 100% image burning with a ihas B drive.Yes they have complications but once you have got through the 10 plus coasters trying to find out which settings work for your particular media then its all good.

i have MKM-003 verbatim, ihas124b with burner max, lt+3.0,but unfortunately i cannot install MW3 to disk, at %49 it gives error, and on disc sometimes i get dirty disc error(because it reads the problemetic part). I also checked it with abgx before burning. After burning it cannot not check and gives me an error, but xbox can (mostly) read the disc. I tried to write with different speeds x2.4 or x4(with opc on) both on imgburn 2.5.0.0 and lastest version of the CloneCd.
Now i realized that reccomended imgburn is 2.5.6.0 or later, mine is not, if anyone achieved it without imgburn 2.5.6.0 let me know because there is only 1 empty dual layer dvd left :D.

(Note: other xgd3 games works perfect bf3 & forza 4)
(Note2: I used both scene release and p2p release)
