Corrupted profile + saves

#1 08 Feb 2010 @ 17:21
Ok so i have a patch 360 where i only play burn games. Never when online with it, its not even connected to the net. Today i got another 360 so i can use my live tag which is the same one i use to play my burn games with. I bought the arcade version 360 because i dont need another HDD. So i plugged it in and switch HDD within consoles. It was not finding my profiles, i signed in with one of my offline profiles and went to memory there i noticed that it showed my profile corrupted and all my save files within the patch 360. All old games, nothing new.

However, i put the HDD back on the patch 360 (firmware 1.61) and my profiles comes up and all saves. What is going on? those this means i cant use my profile online? how can i fix this? i see my games and save on the patch 360, but my new 360 tells me the files are corrupted.

Any suggestion.

i guess this patch 360 most of have gotten banned before which is why is doing this to me. Anything i can do in regards to this? i mean i can now finnally delete my Live Profile and recover it on the unbanned XBOX but all achievements are gone, but once i place it on the "banned" 360 and back to the unbanned, i have to recover it back.

While we're on the subject of corrupted saves/DLC, can someone clear this up:

Everything I read here regarding it, says that when you get banned, your HDD is corrupted.

I was banned in Novemeber 2009. I bought a new arcade, didn't flash the firmware, put my HDD from the banned console on it, recovered GT from Live, all saves/DLC waere fine.

I'm not sure if the saves/DLC were still functioning on the banned 360 when it was 'terminated'. I literally just turned it off and went and bought a new arcade.

It seems that I was hit with the ban but not the one where they cripple the HDD, do you agree?

From what I've been reading here I've learnt that the ban wave from Nov 2008 didn't destroy your HDD, but the bans nowadays do (cripple the HDD).

Was I lucky and got hit with a ban that doesn't affect my HDD? And if so, can I swap the HDD between consoles with no consequence?

thats a good question. I do not know when this 360 was banned. It was my friend's so i got it for free and used it until i got another one beucase the one i had got RROD and i bought it back in 2005 so it was pass the 3 years warranty. i got RROD last December. So all those games i played, like ME2, L4D2, COD-MW2 saves game and file only work within the banned 360, so i guess i have no solution for it.
