Would it work if I split my component signal from my xbox360, 1 way to my HD tv, 2nd end going to my DVC100 composite...as you can see i need to get the split to composite.
so split component signal to 1 way component, the other to composite for Dazzle
orrr if anybody has any other ides..i dont care about hd quality on capturing, just want to play in HD without spending over 40 bucks...i know it can be done i hope...just gotta get that signal down to composite..maybe a component to composite cable..do they make them?

ok the way i had mine was
1. i split the switch in my component cable so it was bare metal no plastic what so ever!
2. plugged both the component and hdmi cable into the xbox
3. took the red white and connected my turtle beaches into them you need this for sound :)
4. hooked up the red white and yellow to the dazzle
5. used a 2 way red whate and yellow cable and splitters to go from the dazzle to the t.v
now if you switch on your 360 itll always come up in the scart channel but if you swap to hdmi it will reset and come through the hdmi port
remeber to keep the component in t.v mode not hd and your dazzle should pick up the signal :)

so basically youre using HDMI, but also using the default cable also plugged in as the dazzle connection...

you could plug the reg green and blue into you'r tv but its not hd just better def but for the dazzle you still need to have it in standard def for it to work im afraid have you considered a black magic intensity pro?
its for the p.c as a pci express card it will capture your gameplay in hd but it'll cost around £150
or even a hauppage hd pvr there quite good for it and run off the green red and blue component cables :)
