i've constructed the dyi liteon key extractor on this page, and if connect it and work with jungleflasher i get "warning: serial data is bad

i've redone the key extractor 3 times, it is constructed properly. i used a c1815 transmitter, 1 and 10 kohm resistors, a db9 female plug and a molex connector (for 5 volt). i've got a second hand xbox 360 with a liteon drive in it, which is spoofed??? as a samsung ms 25 (this is how it shows up in jungleflasher). but i am trying to read out the key of this drive so i can flash it with iextreme 1.6.

i tried to put the tray half way open:

power on xbox (the green light on front is solid green)==> eject tray (while ejecting it is blinking, when totally ejected it is solid==> close tray (green light is blinking! ,while tray is closing taking out the power connector from the back of the dvd drive. this is done before the drive is completely shut. but, now the green light keeps on blinking...) ==> wait a few seconds ==> put connector back into the dvd drive (green light keeps blinking). start up jungleflasher ==> the drive shows up as a ms25 ==> when i want to read the key, i get the serial is bad message.

what am i doing wrong? the transmitter is connected the correct way, the transmitter is working. the resistors are also fine. i;ve constructed the extractor 3 times (3 times new resistors and transmitters). i keep getting the same error, over and over again. i also cut wire 3 from the dvd power cable, so that the tray doesn't close automatically. no luck either

shut the green light keep blinking after i taken out the power connector? shouldn't it keep / go solid? maybe there is a special way since the previous owner spoofed this drive with something else? (and no, i don't have the *.bin files...) any help is appreciated, been at it all day today.

If the Lite-ON drive is already spoofed, there is no need to use a probe to get the key. You can get the key by getting the drive in half tray status, and then under DVDkey32 tab, click "dummy from iXtreme".

but that is part of my problem, i can't seem to get it the drive in half tray status. but the green light in front should keep blinking when i push the eject button (to close the tray) and taking the power cable out of the dvd (just before it closes completely)?
