Double-XP Labor Day Weekend!
In celebration of this year’s Labor Day, Call of Duty: World at War will be rewarding players on all platforms (360, PS3, Wii, and PC) with Double-XP this weekend!
It runs from Thursday thru Tuesday (9/3 – 9/8) so it’s a great time to hit that Prestige button and run the gauntlet.
Hope to see you online! If you haven’t already, be sure to pick up Map Pack 3 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace or PlaystationStore, and if you like it check out the other two Map Packs as well!

I beg to differ halo is full of us fanboys plus I have simulator sickness the only game I can really play with out getting motion sick is Halo 3 yeah I know motion sick!

Halo matchmaking is gay aswell. Only good game type is Rocket Race, which they removed [bungie you suck]. WARR FTW (worldwide association of rocket race).
Camping is not a legitimate strategy.

you forgot the ga part there chris..... and i would agree and disagree at the same time. my only problems with COD5 is that you can never just make a party and roll with it, you always have to mess around, and finally it will start working. stupid treyarch

I hate the clunkiness (if that's a word). Some parts are good I agree, but compared to the fast flowingness (if that's a word) of cod 4 it sucks. I started out on cod 5 but since I got cod 4 cod 5 has only been used a hanful of times.
Camping is not a legitimate strategy.

yea, 4 is a lot faster, but im ranked higher in 5 so i stuck with it. that and it seems a lot more kids (under 15) play cod4. i just get sick and tired of their high pitched squeaky voices.

I've never played Halo, but I have COD WAW
I found it quite tricky and hard to get into. I did enjoy it when I was playing Co-op but I haven't got live anymore.

I just played cod 5 for the first time in god only knows when. I got +17 on my first game and +19 on my second, I think I'm pro.
Also are the new maps worth it? I've got the first one and I wasn't too impressed. It would take 1gb+ download limit to dl the maps, which is equivalent to 3 days internet. If only they sold dlc on a disc.
One more thinkg. Has anyone noticed the inaudible voice overs? Like in search and destroy (marines) when you lose a round. The guy says "We took a beating but it ain't over yet". It sounds so much like he's saying it to the tune of video killed the radio star. And when the Japanese guy says "Enemy infantry has found us" (or something like that) sounds so much like "enemy poultry has found us".
Camping is not a legitimate strategy.

Ok. Cod waw is nowhere near as good as cod4. Halo 3 is good but it's not my type of game (a lot of people get carried away with it).
This thread is gone off topic and while it is how come there's never cod4 double points.

lol world of warcraft has absolutely nothing to do with an xbox full stop so I don't know why that was brought up in this forum.
I think that's a complete time wasting game anyway that you need to have a LOT of time on your hands such as no job or hobby.

It's about time someone pipes up are recognizes how overrated Halo 3 is. I loved the single player, but the multiplayer is pathetic. I guess I like a somewhat realistic game, as compare to having to shoot Master Chief a hundred times just to kill them. It's arcadish to a fault. I haven't ever been a huge Halo fan, because of this. Besides being the only workable shooter for the original Xbox, I don't even know how it deserved a sequel. The first Halo had no story and the gameplay was TERRIBLE. Bungee are some pretty lucky fellows in my opinion.. Especially when less acclaimed games, like Timesplitters, kicked it's ass.
Oh yeah, and yah for double points. haha
