Error message: Can't recover "your" profile

I'm trying to recover my profile on a New 250 GB HD and I receive this message can't recover your profile once I enter my email and pass code correctly. I've done this many times b4 without ever seeing this message so what might be my issue.

Not banned Jasper liteon with 1.91 fw

Usually this happens when there is corrupt data on the drive. Format the drive and try again.

just delete your profile,if you format the drive you,ll lose all your saves

The 250 is a new drive so no data should be there ;)

Thanks ModKing30, that fixed my issue... I'm a little concerned transferring 2 HD's of save files to this drive with this kind of start!

Well the profile is there. Make sure you grab the correct 250g version of 360explorer to transfer the saves. Or modio works too.

I ended up deleting all the installed games then used a 16 gb flash drive to transfer DLC's and game saves. It all worked out :)
