Hi my friend said that he flash moded his 360 and he can play online on Xbox live and MS dident ban him...i asked how he said i dident out a chip i FLASH MODDED IT soo...can anyone tell me how to flash modd my xbox and can i still play live after modding it??

iXtreme firmware will allow you to do so. But there is no guarantee you won't get banned. A good tutorial to start with is Jungle Flasher and you can check it out at http://www.jungleflasher.net or the tutorial linked in my signature.

oki i dont know if i have the correct hardmare....i heard stuff about toshibia and stuff like tht hdd i dont get it......would you please give me some details..

You need a compatible SATA chipset. If you have a Lite-ON drive you will need a key reader and use it in conjunction with a DVD connectivity kit (unless you made a homemade probe). But really though, the Jungle Flasher tutorial will explain it. You need to identify what type of DVD drive is in your console.

Take off the 360 faceplate. Look under the DVD bezel where it says XBOX 360. There should be a small hole and 2 wires.

Yellow = Lite-ON
White = BenQ
Red & Black = Samsung
Plastic piece = Hitachi
