graphical issues with gta4 and liberty city stories

I have a burnt copy of GTA4 and the Stories of Liberty Cities. When playing both these games you'll be driving and the road your driving on will go one solid color and soon after will look better, buildings the same or not appearing and soon after appearing. I don't have a problem with other games. Anyone else getting these problems or am I the only one?

It's probably the media or a bad dump. what speed you burn the iso at? Did you patch the game from wave to wave?
Or it could have just been a bad burn due to faulty media.did you run it through abgx?

Used verbatim and burnt at 2x like all my games, ran through abgx fine, didn't patch wave to wave.

what firmware is your drive? it might of just been a bad dump. if you didn't dump it yourself, or an immediate contact check your source and see if there are any other comments on the problem.

I had the same problem until I deleted the game from my hard drive. There's still some pop up but not to the extent there was when I had the game installed to my hd.

then to me at least it sounds like a bad dump, possibly ripped from a kreon drive, and didn't cacth the aditional angles that would be caught in 0800 mode on a native drive.

Had a problem like this with the gta 4 on my benq. Installing to hard drive seemed to help, but I remember reading that it was a common problem. While driving so fast the xbox can't load textures fast enough therefore you get these lack of textures.
I also used to get these glossy looking scenes during cut scenes but installing to hd fixed that.

So is there any way I can fix this? IS there a patch I can download? I have a banned console so cannot be installed on my HDD and I have IX 1.61.

You sure you aren't getting pixelation? GPU could be failing.

Pretty sure its not pixelation. I only see it happening with these two games (GTA4 and the liberty city stories). Rest of my games are fine so its either a coincidence that both the rips are faulty or maybe a problem within the game.

It sounds to me like you are just dealing with pop-in, which is a common problem with GTA IV on the 360. Does this only happen when you are driving fast, or does it happen when you are walking around?

Try installing the games to your hard drive.
