i've got ix 1.6 and running gta with the one shot boot disc.
But abgx360 has just released an update.
Does this mean to anyone that knows, you don't need to use the one shot boot disc and what exactly doe it do? its it just a stealth patch for playing online?
Also whats new with the IX 1.6.1 ?

ABGX has nothing to do with firmware. It just integrity checks games to see that it is.
And they haven't released an update, as per their website.
As far as the new iXtreme, there are literally a dozen threads in this very forum from the past few days alone that address that issue.

yeah i know ABGX has nothing to do with Fireware, is it just to do with stealth patching?
and the update released was for GTA.

you need the one shot boot if you are using ixtreme 1.6 but for some reason i have no luck playing this game with it. all of my other w4 games boot without issues, this one doesn't.
