Having trouble burning Xbox 360 games

Hi for the first time in a year I am having problems burning Xbox 360 games at first I was using clonecd and I got this message
It only got 1% done then the speed feel to zero and that message appeared. I also tried using Imburn but there it failed even before it started. This actually started two games ago at the first one I gave up but the second one succeeded in the third try. Oh yeah if you are wondering when that message means in the picture it is Writing to TSST corp CDDVDW SH-S202J failed. I think it's a Samsung model.

do you have a second dual layer burner you can use to test and see if it is the drive?

I also hate to ask for fear of what I will get, but what media do you use?

I use Verbatim that’s the time I got my first error but my latest was on a Philips brand DVD.

Ok just used Verbatim DVD no effect still have the same error, I am beginning to believe that my DVD writer is at the end of his life.
