#1 24 Sep 2012 @ 20:01
I am trying to burning Xbox 360 Games on DVD Using ImgBurn. I have
the Lite-ON Litescribe iHAS 624-04-B iXtreme Burner and blank DVD+R DL but is not working. It recognizes the DVD but it does not display the game and does not run. My Xbox currents settings dashboard is 2.014719.0 . Do you have any ideas? Thank you

Rather then annoying everyone with another thread, thought I'd just post it in here:

I'd like to play some games but have ran into a few issues with burning XGD3 games as I believe the issue is from the burns

so the first thing of course is the needed IHAS drive, which I luckily got the B model and it sat on my shelf collecting dust till yesterday. Hooking it up I made a backed up of the original EEPROM, flashed it with iHAS-224B-GL0A-MKM001MKM003-final.bin, restarted, and finally tried to update (said the firmware was already up-to-date)

The game I want to try is lollipop chainsaw, so next I downloaded the latest abgx; ran the iso of the game through and it patched it, ran the test again and everything was green

Finally got to the burning part. The software I use is imgburn (of course the latest version) and I set all the settings and advanced settings as according to guides... mainly advanced settings for liteon are enabled (like force hyper tuning, online hyper tuning, etc), changed buffer setting to 512mb , set layer break to calculate optimal and so on

So everything should be good to go right? Well unfortunately no. Seems every time I try to copy the disc to the xbox hard drive I get a dirty disc error. any suggestions?

Thanks

Its due to the media that you use. Try using Verbatim Singapore discs. In the middle east it is hard to come by. U only get Imation discs. I use these settings for the RITEK - Imation discs
Write Speed - 2.4
OPC-N
Burn Proof-N
FHT-N
OHT-N
Smart Burn-N
Overspeed-N
Buffer-71
At this setting most of my XGD3 burns worked. The burn problem occurs @ 49 % when there is a huge spike in the KProbe readings. Try it out, may work for u.

U save all the trouble if u can get hold of Verbatim Singapore discs.

You don't need Verbatim discs unless you're trying to burn XGD3 games. What is the name of the game you're trying to burn? I have the same dashboard as you so I'll try to help. also, have you patched the .dvd file of the game you're trying to burn using agbx?
