hello,im new to all this so if anyone can help.i flashed my benQ 360 using jungle flasher and as far as i was conserned i had done it right but when i put a disc in it tells me to put it in a 360. i backed up my original firmware.can anyone tell me where ive gone wrong.thanks

Can you post the log for jungle flasher? How did you perform the flash? Did you use a VIA chipset? Which version of JF did you use? Which iXtreme Firmware did you flash your drive with? Also as far as you backups? Where did you get them from? What brand media are you using? I know its a lot of questions but having all this information ready will give others here a better idea of your problem and give you a better shot at being helped. =)

I dont know the chipset,as for jf i used JungleFlasher v0.1.67 & i flashed it with ix16-benq,jf made a backup of my o/f. every thing seemed to run smooth so dont know what iv done wrong.could really do with your help.

have you tried an original game in the benq? perhaps the flash is ok but the back up is a duff?

have you run the benq through JF again to see if it picks up the drive with the new 1.6 fw?

and if you are going to hook it back up to check the flash why not flash it with 1.61 your gonna need it to play wave 4 games without using active iso

i assume you followed the jungle flasher guide are you sure you spoofed the key to the new firmware

best thing right now to do is either reflash it with 1.61 and try it or check with an original game

hi all,just hooked the drive up again to see what f/w is on it this is what it said.

DVD key found @ 0xE030 key is 020030022E384A4CEF2436FFEE341CFE
Firmware is Benq OSIG: PBDS VAD6038-64930C
Firmware type is: iXtreme v1.60-12x-FINAL-VAD6038.but no games work at all only dvds please help :(

get the new firmware 1.61 from here

hook up the drive

open jungle flasher once drive is in vendor mode

click source firmware open ofw.bin
click target firmware open the 1.61 fw for benq
click spoof to target make sure the key you see in the top box copies down to the bottom box make sure they match
erase the drive then write to the drive

worked for me and with the 1.61 firmware you will not need the active iso
