Help i just flashed my sammy to v2.0 lt plus...

#1 20 Oct 2011 @ 16:32
I just update my drive. after i updated my console of course. and most my games play just fine. only ones that dont play are the new games that are over sized. (0800) i belive is what they are called. i cant run them through abgx cause it thinks it not a iso. i burned them according to the tutorial with immburn. i selected the option on the bottom i cant recall what it was but it was on a few different tutorials. ive tried about 4 different games and NONE of them play on my sammy drive. what am i doing wrong? it shows the game and 2 of them let me install them. but when i load it up it pops up dirty disk error.

I am here standing. I never sit.

i think you need to wait until 2.1 for sammy's is released or get a new burner and burn the entire image, the firmware for the burners will be released this weekend according to C4.

not going to make any difference, the problem is with the sammy not the burn, if you look on c4eva speaks you will see that there is a new firmware in the works for big disc support, sammy lt+2.1, continuing to burn truncated files are not going to make them work.

not a problem, especially since you have a sammy you may want to look into buying the new burner and getting prepared to burn your games that way, c4 said that all big games are booting fine burnt with the burner firmware, on samsung drives.

no wait, you misunderstood, not a new drive for your 360, a new burner for your computer to burn the games with, read this thread maybe it will explain it better http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...ed_here-913418/

i: Buy one of these burners for PC.
Lite-On iHAS124B
Lite-On iHAS224B
Lite-On iHAS324B
Lite-On iHAS424B
Lite-On iHAS524B
Lite-On iHAS624B

2: Flash c4eva's new "Burner Max" firmware to it. (firmware to be released this weekend).

The combo of this burner and firmware allows the entire ISO to be written to the disc, so:

3: Burn the ISO with (most likely) ImgBurn. Use the latest version of ImgBurn.

4: Play the hell out of those new XGD3 games.
