Help with liteon 7 series flash

ok so I have a PC with an onboard PCI SATA Card
Intel ICH8R/ICH9R SATA RAID Controller
I was wondering if this was able to be used to flash a 360 drive? I hooked it up to my drive and tried to use it but it could not detect the drive?
Any help is much appreciated

Also it is a lite on 7 series
using ck3 lite and probe 3 - never flashed before
running windows vista
jungle flasher .1.83 beta

Vista is a problem, although it might not be the cause of this particular problem. My cousin tried flashing with Vista and it froze on him every time. I have Vista myself, and when I started flashing boxes I dual booted XP to avoid the same problem my cousin had.
