How to burn Xbox 360 Games - The Stealth Way (Updated)

#1 27 Oct 2010 @ 11:54
Ok guys, I found this site on how to burn games. Trust me, it works like a charm!

This Burn Method Is only for people who has DVD Drives that isn't a DVD DL Writer. Skip STEPS 6-8 if you have a DVD DL Writer!

NOTICE:(OUTDATED) Do not take credit on me, but the guy (or guys) who found out another way to burn it. Here is his website: Everything 4 360. (UPDATED) I edited the original tutorial with some research. This is a brand new tutorial.

(12/2/11)This guide will let you burn XGD2 games NOT XGD3. To learn how to burn XGD3 games Click on the two AD links: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...3_games-911668/ OR http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...2_5_6_0-912244/

UPDATE: Burn Plus Stealth Patch games! Thanks NDarkness, ABGX360, ImgBurn, The Torrents, WinRAR, DVD Decrypter, Everything 4 360 and to the Xbox 360 modders!

Requirements:

A Xbox 360 Game (Downloaded from torrents, ripped from a disc, etc.)
ABGX360 (Download)
ABGX360 tweaks (Before using it): http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...utorial-809679/
WinRAR (Download)
DVD Decrypter and Img Burn (Downloads: DVD Decrypter/Img Burn)
DVD+R DL (I Highly Recommend Verbatim) <-- I mean really. Use Verbatim DVD+R DL x2.4 made from Singapore. 100% Chance of a successful, clean and anti-error burn and play (Unless the blank Verbatim disc got scratched...)

DOWNLOAD THEM ALL and buy a blank (Verbatim) DVD+R DL disc.

Steps:
1.Use the tutorial up there at the Requirements Section and tweak your ABGX360
2.Open up ABGX360
3.Scan the ISO using the program
4.Click the Autofix Tab and Press the Big Green X button at the bottom of the program. Wait till' everything is Green and blue and after that press any key to quit.If some lines are yellow, then the info was not yet in the database, but if it is red then something is very wrong...(SOURCE: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/732074 <-Thank you!)

NOTE: DO NOT CONTINUE if your ISO is missing some files or the ISO is too small. Why? Because if you continue and burn, you will not be able to play the game (Obviously) and get the "Unreadable Disc" error. (aka Bad rip)

Also, don't worry if the .ISO doesn't come with the .DVD file. Because after ABGX360 scans and fixes your .ISO, it will automatically create an .DVD file for your .ISO.

5.Open Img Burn, click "Write image file to disc"
6.Press "Change Book Type...", it's at the bottom-right corner on Img Burn.
7.On Change Book Type...,
a.Go to LG Tab and change "Change For:", and then select "Drive(For DVD+R DL Media)"
b.On "Current Setting:", below that, go to "New Setting:", and select "DVD-ROM" and press "Change". on "Current Setting:" it will change to DVD-ROM.

8.On Img Burn, on top of it. Select Tools>Settings..., Go to "Write" Tab. You will find there Options. Below Options, you will find Layer Break (For DL Media).
Select User Specified OR Calculate Optimal (Skip this step if you choose Calculate Optimal AND If you have a .DVD file. If you don't have one. Create one. You already know where to find it. But I suggest you just use the User Specified method and NOT skip this step). Below it, you will see "Sectors in L0". paste this "1913760" there at Sectors in L0 And click OK below the Img Burn window.

9.OK, you're almost done to play with your game you desired.
Now all you need is to Place the Blank DVD+R DL in your DVD-ROM Drive.
10.Select the [Xbox360 Game].DVD as your file to burn.
11.Write it at 2x-4x, for sure, non-scratched, anti-error and playable game.
12.Burn and wait (It will take 25-60 mins.).
13.ENJOY! You can now play the game! Insert it in your Xbox 360 and play.
.

Here you have it!

Thanks for the tutorial but that everything4360 site tries to charge for information that is completely free elsewhere. Usually stolen from other people aswell so definately don't promote it.

this guide blows. Why would you ever open the .dvd file? Here's my guide:

extract game with winrar to an iso
use abgx (it makes the .dvd file for you)
use imgburn, add .dvd file to imageburn
insert verb media
click burn
done

Your guide isn't even close to right

oh and ban proof? LOL, moron!

C'mon guys.... Cut the guy some slack. He's just trying to help. Just a head's up GI2, there is a ban wave every year. Most consoles get hit with the ban hammer. Some survive, but I'm not so sure this time around. It's best to have 2 consoles. One legit to play games that you want to play multiplayer with, and the other to use offline only as a 360 that can read backups (flashed). That way if you do get hit with the hammer, you still have your legit box to play on live.

Boy, I burned a MW2 disc for my Xbox. I played Xbox Live on it. It didn't ban me. But thanks for your other short and quick guide anyway...

Never heard of that. Thanks for the heads up and thanks for defending me.

Anyway, I go online pretty rarely. And there's no Xbox Live Gold Membership Cards or MSP Cards in this town.

LOL. Who said it was an instant ban. Come back to this thread after next month. Everyone gets banned eventually. It happens about 1 time a year. I assume you weren't here last year when the 100's of thousands got banned.

You're saying that when I post this, everybody here gets banned? Well, that's a shock.

I never knew Microsoft was so merciless, even though we have to buy them stupid Gold Membership... I know everybody hates the Gold Membership feature, but i'm just hoping that Silver membership can make you play online, not download stuff and play only offline...

That. Is. A fact. Yes, it's true. I just posted there Ban-proof because it meant: Not to get easily and instantly banned. But, what the heck? you won't get banned instantly, unless you do something very wrong...

lol well you can't say it's ban-proof then. It's like me advertising a cloak saying that it is "fire-proof" but then saying that it MAY catch on fire sooner or later.

LOL. We'll see next month. There will be instant bannings for some people. Last year people who flashed before the banwave the night before, were instantly banned.

Anyway, I wont be using Internet 4 me Xbox. Only PC... I got MW2 on my Steam. that will keep meh busy...

I got some questions here about the banwave.

1.Can we update it offline using an USB Drive/CD/DVD?
2.Can we go online after November 4?

Cause. Nobody is going to my other thread... so I decided to go here...

EDIT: Maybe you could answer here: The Thread.

I've been researching. And. Guys! Check this out! OK, i tried this tutorial to burn on my Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and... Without notice (a few weeks later (which is now!) I tried scanning my ISO (using ABGX), BUT it ain't Stealth patched! I went online a few weeks ago ( 5 hours after the burn) and no ban!

What do ya call this!?

I'm quite shocked myself.

The ban wave haven't started as yet, I think they will begin in December when there are enough games out with the apn2.5 to detected them on the new dashboard. You should really update your guide to use agbx360 because nobody should every burn a game without running it throughout that.

his guide is really outdated to be honest, there is zero need to go in image burn and change any settings. you can install imgburn fresh and touch no settings at all and as long as you have a correct dvd file selected it will burn just fine. the only thing you might have to check at all is the burn speed. and yes abgx is always the right thing to do if you want to have safe discs for live.

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.
