i have windows 7 ultimate, ihas 124 b flashed burner max and i use verbatim 003

not sure what that means ^ i would say you could have a lot of problems, are you running anything else while you are trying to burn? how many times have your tried? you should tick opc, your problem is at the layer break which most of the time points to bad media, it is possible to get bad verbs, usually; although rare, it usually runs its course after 4 or 5 discs, try a couple more if no success i would think you either got some bad discs or your burner may be bad!

I had one doing this so i opened it up and one of the rails for the laser was loose and in the wrong place. I pushed it forward until it slid in between the 2 screws properly and then it started working perfect. I don't know how it would've happened in the first place the person who owned it claimed they bought it new and it never worked on dual layer discs until I fixed it.
