Is it possible to play on non Jtag x360 arcade without HDD?

#1 15 Sep 2010 @ 7:29
Hi, I have x360 pal jasper arcade (256mb) and installed that damned update 2199 or 2099, so I can't Jtag my console.. Thus if I want to play older xbox games I need a hard drive, but this new update lets to use USB sticks. Is there a way to launch conker (yes, yes, conker :)) on x360 with this stick without need of hard drive? (HDD emulation or other tricks)? and if it can be, how to install backwards emulator to play it?

thanks for info

I think he wants to know if (with the 2099 dash) he can use a USB stick in place of a HDD. If so, then in most cases, yes.

But I don't know if Conker is an XBLA game or an Xbox 1 game.

If it's an XBLA downloadable game, then it should run from the USB stick.

If it's the original Xbox 1 game, I'm not sure if the backwards compatibility files usually on the HDD, can get installed to the USB stick to run the game.

Conker is not Xbla game, it's an old good game on disc, my sonsole isn't Jtag'ed.. isn't there any way to copy backwards compatibility files to USB and not into HDD??? becouse I don't have so much money to buy a HDD to play only for one game (becouse Conker: live and reloaded rules, baby! :))) try it if you didn't, it's one of the best games ever created (it is on Nintendo 64 too, but Xbox version has prettier graphics)..

I tryed, but didn't find it.. maybe I did a bad search? but theoricaly HDD is a storage device like USB pendrive, so why it has to be different to launch that backwards emulator.. :/
