jtag usb 2tb hdd pc dont recognize it

ok my usb 2tb hdd will only be recognized by my 360 my pc for some odd reason dont recognize it when i plug it in i think it pops up as a cd drive any help plz!!!
also i got a 2nd ? by the way
how do u 2 speed up the file transfer to the 360
for small files i get 3 4 5 6 7 mb f.t.
now for files around 700mb 2 5gb i get 90kb to 300kb

Is the drive formatted in FAT32? Jtag doesn't understand NTFS. Google some FAT32 formatting tools to get you on your way.

yes it is fat32 my jtag reads it i used swissknife to format it but as soon as i formated it a few minutes later the usb hdd will say on pc usb unrecognized

have you tried completely zero filling the drive and then formatting it? completely cleans it and leaves no traces of any old files, but to be honest it just seems like the x box being an x box, I have a 8 GB memory stick and I plug it into x box, format it, plug it into computer, plug it into x box, when I remove it, all the x box storage disappears even though the space is still used.

ok my 360 recognizes the 2tb usb
but my pc dont because its fat32
now im reading on how to make it recognize it
by Reformat a Partition of it
would that erase anything games dlc n saves
from the drive
also does any1 have any ideal

there is nothing wrong with you drive, winXP does not recognize fat32 drives that large. UPDATE YOUR WINDOWS! :p
