lite on already flashed, read key from r707 still?

i was trying to test a new probe that i made, and all i have laying around is a 7 series lite on that has a burnt out laser. but its already been erased and flashed to ixetreme 1.6. is it still possible to get a key reading from r707? thanks

so i guess my probe isnt working. is there a minimum wattage or anything for the transistor used when making the probe. my first probe used a 80w trans, but i was making one using the "STICKY" tutorials items, the trans is 200mA but it isnt working. so i was wondering if that was actually the correct one to use

now my first probe isnt even working. maybe its not the laser but actually the the board in the drive.
