I just got the Lizard and its awesome and Ive done a few systems but no slims. If anybody owns it, how different is it from the regular models? Is it the same or somewhat different.

What do you mean different models? The slims actually dump much easier. You don't even need to use the clips.
#3
Oh does it now, so then really its just the same as the other ones. I thought you needed the clips for the Scorpion tool to work.
#4
isnt lizard no cut tool?

#5
Yeah its a no cut tool but you still need a computer or laptop to do the flashing. I love it, it takes longer to open the system than it does flashing it.

You only need to use the clips on the liteon drives for FAT 360's currently. You can dump the 9504 and 0225 with no clips.

Sweet. I myself love this tool, its really easy to use and it does the job in no time. Money well spent.

it's okay, but teamX's tool has some good features. The lizard was amazing when it first released. Now with the PMT method, you don't need to use any clips. You can modify your lizard with the PMT method so you don't have to use clips.

See Im not too familiar with the PMT method, maybe you can point me in that direction. I may be wrong but I heard that TeamXs tool still requires cuts to be made, which would kinda suck, but I myself dont know much about it. They both might be useless soon with whatever that update is MS is coming out with.
#10
no it doesn't require cuts or clips
#11
you mean xgd3

yep. I actually talked to ED at vgc and they have no intent of making a no clip method. It was the first of it's kind, so it's only going to improve by others. I will admit the clips are a pain, but you still don't have to make cuts ;)

so is the firmware out for the new slims now, since i see you talking about the new tools for the slim?
#15
It's 96 or less hours away

It's probably only going to be the 9504 liteon, but the 0225 is right behind it

When MS brings out that new xgd3 format, wouldnt that kill modding for the system? As for the Maximus and X360USB PRO tools, whats the difference? I dont mind using the clips if thats the biggest difference.
