My modded Xbox 360 wont play new games

My dashboard is running the latest kinect if im not mistaken. Now I cant play Fifa 12. it has to be updated and it says like this :
An update must be applied to your console to play this game, if you decline this update, you wont able to play this game.

Should i just go for yes? I dont want to risk the yess without knowing the consequences. What should i do?

What do you mean its gonna reflash my drive? Sorry my knowledge in Xbox is quite limited

Assuming that you're not on the latest dashboard version, what you need to do is this: -
1. Flash your 360 back to stock firmware
2. Update the dashboard to the latest version
3. Flash your 360 with the latest LT+ version available for your drive (hopefully, that's LT+ 2.0)
Then you can play backups of any games, at least until the next dashboard update comes out which is rumoured to be in the middle of November.
So your first step is to look in the settings on your console to see what dashboard version it's on. If it's not on 2.0.13599.0 then you need to do steps 1-3 that I listed above, or pay/get someone else to do it for you.

mickaiel have you ever had your dvd drive flashed in the 360 so it can read copied games that you have burnt that is what flashing is for,as you have posted in the 360 hacking section & your comment in your 2nd reply suggests you haven't otherwise you'd know what a flash was

if you update and its successful do you get new keys? coz ive never been able to reflash as i bought my flashed console from fleabay and never had the original keys? so will the update give me the keys back so i can get a reflash? think im still on 1.6

SO I have updated to Lt Plus 2.0 so I can play GoW 3, Spacemarines n Dead Island etc. alleluia
But now I can't play games like Assassin's creed brotherhood or COD Black Ops (unsupported disc)
Can still play old games like Dead Rising 2 n Batman Arkham Asylum
Can Still Play Older games like Mirror's Edge or Prince of Persia
So what's the deal? is AC3 lost 2 me forever?

When you update the dashboard, it also updates the AP2.5 data table. AC: Brotherhood and Black Ops are both AP2.5 games so that's why they won't play. You need to rip the games to an ISO, patch them with abgx360, then re-burn them. Chances are you've flagged your 360 already just by trying to play them though (check with XVal 2.0).

How is Step# 3 done?i burned NBA 2k12 (which i believe is an XGD3) then when i tried it on my MODDED console, it prompted for an update, so i updated with the latest dashboard (thinking that it was the update i need). After that my console can't play copy games anymore, including the ones I use before. Can this still be fixed? Please help.

Hi, I updated my xbox 360 to the 2.0LT and already playing Gears of War 3, however, I have the same problem I had before with HALOR Reach, Assassins Creed B. Call of Duty Black Ops & Call of Duty MW2... Now something curious, I kept my previous copies of some of those games, and they play fine with the new update, my question, How can I copy the other ones, with the same wave, or region so they can be playable again, I copy my games, with ABGxbox360

hi.i am trying to burn driver and gears of war 3 from an image that i downloaded but the image burn is telling me that the image is bigger than the disc size...is there any settings or anything else please that i can do?i apritiate your help.

I have nba 2k12 that was running on LT 3.0 I believe. But it freeZes when I play in playoff mode on a specific area and I read a couple of threads saying I need lt 3.0 in order to play but the thing is, Im can play using a LT 2.0? I also took my friends nba game and it says unsupported but my copy plays? I'm very confused? Someone please explain?
