Original Xbox Boot Error 13

#1 05 Jan 2013 @ 11:17
So, I did a noob thing and screwed with my modded xbox's C drive via FTP, now whenever I boot I get an error 13. In my adventures across the interwebz, I found out that it's just an incompatibility error, and that it SHOULD still run most games post 2005. I went out and purchased Madden 07 (released in 2006) which is live enabled. It still won't boot past error 13. If I turn on the console with the game in the drive, it'll hang for a moment or two and act like it's reading the disk, but then just go right away to error 13. Without the game, it'll just start, show the xbox screen for a split second, then revert to error 13...Any suggestions on fixes? If this post in in the wrong place, I apologize, there isn't a section for the original xbox anymore, i'm assuming because it's old as hell.

There's numerous posts about this issue in the original xbox section which is now a read only archive click forum link up top ^^ then scroll to very bottom, you may have to chip it if you have no eeprom backup,if the eeprom is still there you may be able to fix the balls up with AID,there's downloads of xbox software tools at link below including a modified version of AID

or an active forum on the original xbox be sure to search for answer first to solve it
