hi, just wondering if it is safe to do the dlc disc update, im flashed to ix LT, can someone confirm what this update actually does because if its a system update it mite not be very safe.

when i start the disc it says "an update is required to install the expansion pack"

i have the latest dashboard update and also latest fallout3 game title update.
