I am looking for either the unlocked drive or the PCB board to buy. I know they have the kamikaze trick but it just doesnt appeal to me. Does anyone know where to get these parts for a decent price? VGC is sold out of the drives and I cant remember any of the other sites.

There's Xconsoles or modchipcentral. Either of those have the parts you need! I'd recommend Xconsoles out of the two.

i use the soldering iron, i will admit i messed up the first one because i made my spot in the wrong place and i did get status 3 and did not stop drilling because i was looking for 5, i managed to get the firmware written to the drive but eject or drive motor didnt work, once i figured out the exact spot its really easy now, you only have drill very small amount. i would suggest grabbing your key and trying it, if you mess it up you are still going to be buying a new board!

If you mess up, and need to buy a new PCB, I'd just buy one of the hacked PCB's from Team-Xecuter or Team Maximus, since those would be already to go.

Well its not my xbox Im flashing, so i rather buy the board or drive instead of drilling it. But since Im gonna buy the board, I will probably try this method to see if I can do it and if I cant I always have the spare board/drive.
