this is weird xbox gets 3rrod with new 1.61 but not with original firmware. it alson got it with 1.6 then i retored firmware with jungle the no 3 rrod ok so then i tried it jungle and 1.61 got 3 rrod ok so i put it back to original and guess what no 3 rrod is my flash screwed up or what?
not getting an error just black screen and rrod this is what i did i unlocked in jungle put original firmware in the target then wrote it to benq hen checked xbox it booted to welcome screen then unlocked read spoofed with 1.61 wrote tried it in xbox rrod black screen did it 3 times now trying a different download of 1.61? is it the original frimware thats screwing it up?
whats funny is that it did this with just 1.6 on it first but it worked on 1.6 for a while before rrod????

Every RROD has a error code. You need to pull the code.
how do i "pull the code", its just black screen . Any way i just tried with 1.61 on it worked for about a minte then froze powered down then got rrod again reflashing and M$ get this one back.

The specific type of hardware failure can be determined by a "hidden" error code
•Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
•Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
•The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
•Release the eject button and press it again.
•The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
•Release the eject button and press it again.
•The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
•Release the eject button and press it again.
•The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
•Release the eject button and press it again.
•The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
0001 power supply problem
0002 power supply problem
0003 (not yet known)

0010 over heating
0011 over heating
0012 over heating
0013 over heating
...
0020 (Not yet known, possibly overheating)
0021 (not yet known)
0022 GPU Error / GPU Overheating

0101 (not yet known)
0102 unknown error - literally means the console does not know what is wrong. Possibly a short or cold solder joint somewhere (2 reports of people repairing this, one was removing moisture build up inside the console, the other used a hot-air rework to reflow the BGA Ram chips)

1003 Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it

Just got off the phone with M$ my 360 got banned from service caused they said it showed it was tampered with. thats why it dont work any ideas how to fix this????

Did you phone them about the RROD when flashing it? Cuz I would not recommend that. If it works with the original FW, then it's obviously a bad flash problem. But now that your console is banned you won't be getting on Xbox Live anytime soon unless you get a new console.
