Updating from Pre LT

I know there has been a few developments lately with regards to firmware. My console is banned regardless so I just want my backups running again.
I haven't updated my console since around this time last year (so i'm guessing it's probably iX 1.6?) and my mate put Rugby World Cup in the console and it overwrite the firmware so now I can't play older backups.
Anyway, my drive is LiteOn, and my dashboard version is 2.0.13146.0
Is it a case of hooking my drive up into JungleFlasher and doing what I used to do?
Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated!

Pull the drive, flash to stock. Update the dash to 13599 via usb. Flash to LT 1.9.1

Just about to do it now. Do I still flash the dashboard to 13599?

yes, you update to the latest dash using a usb stick.(download the update from micrsoft) Then flash to LT 2.0

Where can I download LT 2? Im on Xbins and can only see 1.9 Plus?
