I know I need to use IMG burn 2.5.6.0 but not sure what setting I should be using ?
In the layer break options I need to choose "calculate optimal" but what nrs am I suppose to put in the box "Sectors in L0" where do I get this nr. from? I assume it's differenr for every game, correct?
How about new xbc 2.9.0.345 ? Can this be used to read & write like the same way we did before xgd3 ?

The point of "Calculate Optimal" is that you leave the "Sectors in L0:" box blank. In fact, when you select "Calculate Optimal" you can't enter anything in that box anyway.
ImgBurn gets the layerbreak information from the .dvd file. The .dvd file is just a plain text file that contains the following (for example): -
layerbreak=2133520
gearsofwar3.iso
So that tells ImgBurn to set the layerbreak to 2133520 (the correct setting for XGD3 games) and that the ISO to burn is called gearsofwar3.iso. If you're ripping your own games and you need to make a .dvd file, you can just type the information into Notepad, save it with the same name as your ISO, then change the .txt extension to .dvd.
The layerbreak settings for games is always this: -
XGD2 = 1913760
XGD3 = 2133520
So the reason it's not a good idea to enter one of those figures into the "Sectors in L0:" box in ImgBurn is because if you enter in 1913760, which is the layerbreak for burning an XGD2 game, if you go to burn an XGD3 game you would need to manually go into ImgBurn and change the layerbreak to 2133520, then when you burn an XGD2 game again you'd have to change it yet again. Also, if you burn anything else to dual layer media (a movie for example) and you have a layerbreak set in ImgBurn, it would use that layerbreak for your burn even though it's not an Xbox 360 game.
So in short, leave it on "Calculate Optimal". If you have XGD2 rips, run them through abgx360 and it will create a .dvd file for you (or fix the existing .dvd file if it's wrong). If you need to create a .dvd file for XGD3 games, you can easily do it in Notepad.
Also, I wrote an in-depth guide to burning both XGD2 and XGD3 games (with or without Burner Max) here, which may help: -

There isn't currently a program to run the ISOs through. abgx360 is in the process of being updated, so we'll have to wait for the next version of that.

Ideally what you do is get hold of an Xbox 360 drive, flash it with 0800, then install it in your PC permanently so it becomes your "360 game ripping drive".
If you want an external ripping drive, you can buy a converted Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive from eBay that just connects to your PC via USB and allows you to rip games, but they're kinda pricey (over $100).
