What is a good (and quiet)Drive to burn Xbox games?

i have a SONY optiarc AD-5260s

I'm using Verbatim with IMGburn 2.5.6.0. I set to burn and come back and the running timer is still ticking up but the burn has frozen on 50%

it's costing me more in Dual layer discs that a new burner.

What are good burners these days, preferably not too 'jet engine loud'

Cheers

Lite-on : iHAS124B

iHAS324B
iHAS424B
iHAS524B
iHAS624B

I have the 124B and its a very quite drive plus you need one of these drives, flashed with Burner MAX to burn XGD3 games

it will burn XGD2 games but not XGD3. you need one of the drives that Farrukh49 mentioned to be able to burn all.

ok i dont understand why people keep saying that you have to have the lite-on ihas drives to even burn the xgd3 games. cus i burn them just fine with my lite-on sohw 1693s dvdrw dl drive. I have burned quite afew of the new xgd3 games batmarn arkham city, saints row 3, battlefield 3, modern warfare 3, nba 2k12, forza 4 and have absolutely no problems burning them with my drive and on verbatim 2.4x dvd+r dl disks and work perfectly. and my drive is very quite. sometimes i have to put my ear next to the drive to make sure it is doing something lol.

You can still burn XGD3 games with any drive. However, only the ihas drives with burnermax firmware will burn 100% of the game (ISO). If you don't plan to go on XBox Live, any burner should be fine. If you ever plan to take your backups on Live, you should be using an ihas drive to get the 100% burn. And even though any burner should burn a functioning copy, this is always subject to change. Forza, for example will not work unless you burn using an ihas drive to burn the 100%. More games could follow, meaning eventually, you'll need an ihas drive.
