Consoles with dashboard pre-7371 can be JTAG'd. But as coorva was getting at, using the RGE, all consoles will be able to do what the JTAG does.

i know, but what ones can be done the old way? what boards? i know that some of them can't unless you do the glitch

oh ok i was just thinking that there were some that even with dashboard pre 7371 that they couldn't be jtaged

With JTAGs, it's all about the dashboard and kernel, not the motherboard.

Dont feel stupid, you are correct in saying there are some 7371's that you cant JTAG, ive had one. It all depends if it has an exploitable CB, only by reading the NAND can you find out
