This just caught my eye, could i get away with using this machine on xbox 360's.

I have a chance to buy one for around £120GBP but would like to hear the views of someone with some experience :)

I own a reflow station and I can tell you that one doesn't come with everything you need. You need a stand to hold the nozzle which alone is over $100. It's worth it, if you play on doing a lot of reflowing. Keep in mind, reflowing doesn't always work if the solder is gone on the board. I always do the 12Volt FAN mod after I reflow and usually sell the system. It takes time and patience too. Don't expect it to just work. It takes experience and the right temps to reflow properly. I always backup my work with a small warranty.

Thanks for the info, is the stand the only other thing i will need or will i need anything else and do you think it will be suitable for xbox 360's?

You will also need a hotplate. That's another $100--$200. Some people use a crappy giddle but the hotplate is made to go onto the stand.

One more question

what max temperature does the re flow station need to be?

I have my eye on two, one of them reaches 385c and the other states 480c

Are they both capable?
