I recently picked up a Slim Xbox, and figured it may be a good idea to modify my phat xbox to run backups. I did the iExtreme flashing thing and everything is working, maybe later I'll get one of those drive emulators to run games off an external HDD...or even jtag it, though I don't want to completely disassemble it to install the Parallel port (is there a USB version?)

I have seen ISOs floating around of Xbox games modified to run on the 360 via disk for those who don't have a jtag installed. I have a question, how is this done? What programs are used to take say Freedom Fighters and have it play on the 360 like its compatible?

To tell the truth, Piracy is not in mind. I just want to play my original Xbox games on my 360, to conserve power and the fact that my original Xbox is busted.

Only a few games can be played on the 360 & all require an update to do so as well as an hdd attached,without an hdd forget it be better off getting another original xbox & chipping it as they're dirt cheap,the 2nd link in my sig has all the tuts on "How To" you'll need,just go to forum scroll to 360 the "how to"

I thought there was a way to patch ISOs to run on an Xbox as if it were a 360 game, some kind of glitch with the emulator, or does that require a jtag/RGH. I do know of the ISO to GOD thing that is supposed to be quite remarkable in this regard, but I understand thats for JTag/RGH.
