Xplorer360 freezes during overwrite

I've had no problem connecting my 20gb HD to my XP laptop using the MS transfer cable. I can open in with Xplorer360 and edit my profile using Profile Editor 2.5. I can save my profile to my desktop but when I try to use Xplorer360 to overwrite the original on the HD the program freezes. The curser changes to the hourglass and just sits there. My profile is only 11MB. After 15 minutes I have to exit out of the program (not responding) and my profile is now corrupted.
Everything else is working fine except for the last overwrite. Any halp?
