Hey all, I installed an E3 flasher into a compatible PS3, all the lights on the board in front and the external hard drive is working. Upgraded from 3.56 to 3.73 easily and put the update.bin on the sd card, mounted it on the front board, and I think I updated successfully. The problem comes when I try to then backup instead of the blue led's lighting one by one until all 8 are there, the 1st, 6th, and 7th blue leds flash rapidly and nothing else happens. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Nevermind...bad seating for the clip on the NOR chip...best way to seat the clip correctly is to fold over a piece of thin paper or cardboard until it is about a quarter of an inch thick, tape over clip where it is placed over the chip, and close tightly. Worked perfectly after...
