Hey guys,

Need a bit of help, I've been trying for a while now to sort out a method to encode captured TV from my media server to stream to my PS3

Media Server capturing full HDTV using TV Webschedulder Pro - 2:20min footage = 15gig of data
I've tried tsmuxer to encode the .ts stream to the right one, which made the video better, but its still stuttering with audio and picture.

I think its a bandwidth issue as i'm streaming over Wireless N, I have tried with a test stream that was 25seconds (42mb) and the same stuttering occurred.

I would be happy if I could halve the resolution down from HD to make it more manageable over streaming if needed, but I can't find a streamlined automated way of doing it, and quickly to make it watchable.

Thoughts?

If you want the fastest streaming speeds, you'll have to link the two (PC and PS3) with an ethernet cable.

Either that or copy the video stream directly to the PS3's hard drive. It'll take some time to copy all the data over wirelessly, but once it's on the PS3's hard drive, it should play just fine.
