i have been reading that the ps3 can not be modded so that you can play backup games is this correct? and if so why would people download ps3 games from torrent sites and also do you think the ps3 will ever be cracked ?
People upload PS3 games to torrents and usenet because they are clueless,they don't realise that those games that they upload are useless,they have the deluded thinking that a mass of playable games will be available when the PS3 finally gets circumvented/hacked,these game according to sources in the scene are completely useless.
Do i think the PS3 will be hacked ? Yes,anything is possible.
Even if it is hacked,i will still buy my games,i believe in paying the developers for their hard work.

I dont see what I have to do with it. I was just restating something I read on another site.
SKFU was able to play a couple of games off the HDD,this was a hard awkward method and it was patched,only about 5 - 6 games were playable of the HDD that way,other than that,nothing is available to public knowledge.

Yeah I think thats what I read on Engadget a few months ago.
