multiman ftp issues

#1 25 Apr 2011 @ 3:33
hey there
i am trying to get my games working over ftp as laser is shot
so I have got multiman 1.17.02 installed and filezilla installed on pc
i am able to connect and transfer the files
(not sure where i should be copying them to i went with game folder)

does the title need to be changed to the letters and numbers for the game or will it work just leaving it at the name of the game

anyways it copies over ok then when i try and refresh the game list it shows the game for a sec then disappears

it does not show up in the list (which is empty)
when i use file manager to find it the eboot.bin file is red
does this mean anything

if i click on the red eboot.bin file it asks me if i want to start the game i press no then it exits to xmb and the app home/ps3 game icon changes to gt5 but it just goes to black screen

so how come it won't add it to the list in multiman or play the other way
i've searched for ages and cant find much on this ftp saving

hopefully someone can help
thanks

update
games need into the games folder then to have a folder created beus###### then put the ps3game and other files in that folder then it shows up in multiman
now my problem is the eboot.bin file is red and the game wont work
tried replacing it with different files (they are all red) and then get other errors so i think it has something to do with that
but i cant find an original eboot.bin and the sfb file that i think i need
but not 100% sure since i cant use a disc to try disc less ( it reads the game but then when i try to start it or install it the counter just starts going up and it wont read it)
sucks not being able to use the actual disk and have the problem go away
maybe someone who has it installed from disc could send me the files that i need if they have ftp setup
