ps3 fan

were the fan plugs in to my ps3 motherboard the plug conecter has snaped off motherbord is there a way of bypassing the plug so the fan will work

How did that happen?!

Been a long time since I opened my ps3, and it was a phat. So I think you have two options

1) Rip the socket from the wire of the fan and solder the wires directly to the motherboard.
2) Unsolder the socket from the motherboard and solder in a new one.

If you have an old graphics card, or some other component with a similar socket, you should be able to remove it from that and solder that on.

just replaced the fan and my son 3 years old walk in and knocked the board onto the floor and it snaped off the thing is it riped the tracks off so carnt solder back on any other ways
