I bought my above Playstation3 slim off ebay, It was adertisted Brand new in Box, upon receiving the parcel I've noticed the box didn't contain English Manual booklet inside.
I contacted the seller according to him 'there isn't Printed English manual, check Online only'.
Question: Can anyone with Ps3 slim check if this is correct? 2ndly, I'm trying to get hold of Original Proof of purchase from seller since without that I'm not covered for 12 months warranty.
Where's the seller located? I am in canada and since it's a bilingual country we get both english and french manuals. If you got the the PS3 from a country that only recognizes one language then your likely to only get the manual in one language.
There should be an local-language manaul with every PS3 made. The only ways that you would not get a manual:
1.) Seller removed manaul
2.) Sony forgot to put manaul in box (I have heard a couple reports of systems showing up without cables, so a missing manual is possible)
3.) A mix-up at sony, resulting in you getting the wrong language manual (rather unlikely, but still possible)
Of the three, I would guess it is scenario 1, especialy if the seller won't give you a proof of purchase.
