rsx chip cover removing

i have a 80gb ps3 (old one) after 2 hours the picture goes, Had it repaired before, know it has gone again,is there anyway off removing the rsx chip cover(the cover over the 5 chips)

I have heard you can do it with a carpet knife blade and a hair dryer...get it warm and then work the blade to cut the glue. I would just try the carpet knife blade first.
