Yeah...I have those too (xmas gift with no receipt). They do have a hissing sound, it is part of their voice feedback thing, The sputter sound is probably your wiring; the wiring that comes with these headphones is terrible. You kinda have to make a PSport to 3.5mm jack adapter and dump that crummy adapter set that comes with them; and if you need that audio output for your TV, well, you are just out of luck...it is one or the other.

But can the headphones still make same sound without wiring them to tv? I mean when someone is shooting me from right i hear the sound coming from right speaker, (without the wires in tv) but if u put the wires to tv, do i get better sound or what is the purpose to connect headset in to tv? i dont get it.
PS is they must put to audio output, why they cannot put to audio input? sry fucking bad english but i dont care :D
