Help gettin red steel 2 going

Alright guys its been a long time since i softmodded this so i forgot everything. Last backup games i was able to play were grand slam tennis and punchout. So im assuming im in need of some updates to play the latest games.

Wii ver 4.OU. I play my games from disc. preloader v0.29 I use backup launcher 0.3g, at bottom of that screen says IOS249. Let me know what else you need to know in order to get me up to date. thanks

im having trouble with this game also. all my other backups are working well but this one?
i even went out and bought a motion plus to see if that would work but no joy.when i select this game it auto returns to the wii main menu.

Running PAL version on NTSC Wii (4.1u), forcing NTSC in CFG USB Loader v56 (but v50 was working as well). Have either of you ran the alt.dol for using MW+ (which is required for this game)? Also, you may want to upgrade some of your apps.

how do i run alt.dol? and what apps do you recommend i update?

are you playing from disc or hard drive? mine works ok so far off hard drive usb configurable loader

in usb gx settings all i did was force "SYSTEM Default" and error 002 "ON" that was it.

same principle as setting up wii sports resort set to run of alt dol thinks its called player.dol watch wii motion plus video all of it no quitting, restart usb loader turn off alt dol and it plays as normal, should be same for disc
