neo gamma mod help ? sd card not showing up

#1 11 Mar 2010 @ 5:52
hello Im goin to mod my own wii.

and start of the guide it says

Open the .ZIP file (dont bother to extract), go inside the folder, and drag the 2 files to the SD Card.

I did that but the files are not showing up on the wii.

Im using a 2 gig sandisk sd card

I tryed again and again and noting was pulling my hair out. the card is working fine like and it is formated in fat32

Hi,

Which guide are you following? Which files are you dragging to the SD card? Have you tried extracting the files there rather than dragging them?

Let us know....

I would stop there......

Upgrade to 4.2 firmware and follow this guide. Tried and tested by 100's of people and simple to follow.

Larries 4.2 soft mod guide

See how you get on with that.

I haven't heard any problems with 4.2 firmware......

All of the guides I have seen require an internet connection so I would suggest that you find a friend with a wireless connection and ask him/her nicely.....

Good luck
