Peppa Pig Game, Usb Loader GX, Black screen on boot!

#1 09 Dec 2009 @ 6:39
Hi guys and girls,

I recently bought a copy of PEPPA PIG GAME for my 6 year old daughter, i installed it on my 1TB HDD and stored the disc away with all my many others.

Now, When i go through USBLoader GX, to load the game, all i get is a frozen console (controller connected but black screen, no response from any buttons other than powering off when i hold power button down for 5 secs)

My initial thoughts were that it needs an alternate DOL, but im getting reports from GX that there is actually no DOL file on the disc image on the HDD - weird huh?

Can anyone shed any light on how to get this game working? Im loathed to give her the disc to play it because it wont last a week before its scratched and unplayable!

Many thanks in advance!

PS: I also tried setting it to block IOS reload, which seemingly had no effect at all.

(*) My backups are LEGALLY MADE COPIES of games I already own, I have got 3 Sticky fingered children, each with their own Wii in their room, so the backups are made of the originals, and the originals stored in the loft incase of scratching, fingerprints or other miscellaneous damage. I own a RETAIL COPY of all backups that I make. I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY!

Yeah, tried updating the USB loader and it still had no effect, so I installed NeoGamma R7, used the options screen to load games from USB HDD, and booted Peppa Pig from there... worked a treat...

Thanks anyways for your help! Hope you had a great Christmas!
