red steel 2 iso wont work

i got a iso of red steel 2 and evey time i got to neogamma 7 it wont play it
how do i get it 2 work?
can i edit the iso
it says compressed iso
then if i use backup channel it says error #2
any answers someone said watch the wii motion plus vid then play it how do i do this?

this has been answered like 50 times. You need to patch error 2 first on your red steel 2 iso. After patching it since you already have a compressed iso it should work. There is also a wii motion plus fix you can patch also. I suggest you patch both.

plus its a soft modded ps2, what do i do? i read the guide it said burn it then just force ntsc but i gett green screen then it starts over

Error 002 is usually caused by the fact that you are missing an IOS for the game to run. Patching probably will fix it, but this way might help, too.

Install the IOS53-64-v5149 WAD file via WAD Manager. Google IOS53-64-v514 to get the WAD file. Then hopefully Red Steel 2 will start working.

Download the WAD I listed, & also the WAD Manager homebrew app. Load the app from the Homebrew Channel using an sd card. Select IOS249 or IOS36 to load from & select "SD Card Slot" as source. Then select the IOS53 WAD & click 'install'. The IOS does not need a DVD-R.

i tried looking for your wad couldnt find it i got the wad manager channel though

installed wad put on neogamma 7 and it didnt work went to a green screen and started over, even tried to force ntsc on it. and i tried neogamma8 same thing. i got two isos of it why wont either work?

You can't play Wii games on a PS2 no matter what you do to it... lol

Sorry guy's but my immaturity got the better of me... >.< Right now that I have that out of my system.

Have you tried using any other loaders? If I remember rightly, when I had some trouble trying to get red steel 2 to run off a disk for a friend, all I did was install configurable USB loader, and booted the disk from there with Hermes cIOS222 but he wasn't getting the 002 problem, it was just kicking him straight out of Neogamma when I tried to load the game... >.< He definately had cIOS249 on his system, but it was that long aago I forget the rev... lol Neogamma doesn't allow you to select what IOS you use and forces you to use IOS249, so perhaps try installing Hermes and using a different loader and see if that solves it?

If not, I blame the source you got the game from or it being a bad burn...

People these days seriously though, they want everything handed to them on a silver platter. Okay so use these files at ur own risk or methods. But in the end one of them will work to get your game working. If anything happens blame yourself. This has been tested and working on wiis I have done.

1) Error 002 fix - its a wad so install it via wad manager 1.5 or 1.4

3) After all this if it still doesnt work, GET USB LOADER installed and set it up on your wii. RUN CFG loader and patch 002 and it should work.

4) now if all this doesnt work its the ISO you have downloaded illegally. Either go borrow the game and rip it yourself or find a reliable source ( I dont condemn illegal activity this is your own doing).

5) Burn using imgburn at 4x speed using verbatim - R discs only.

6) if all of this fails, go buy the real game.

whats a usb loader?

Use google for wii usb loader. There are about like 500 tutorials on how to install usb loader just make sure you know what you are doing.Its pretty self explainatory.
