They need an ios with 37 merged 38 (usually ios 223 = hermes rev4 base 37 marged 38)but this depends on what softmod guide you used.

Thanks for your reply!

I used this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/24630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus.html
It's a guide for 4.2 systems.

And when I went to install the IOS 223, it said under the description "piracy prevention stub, useless." should I continue installing it?

Cannot access the guide at the moment (blank internet)

You need to remove the stubs and then add the 223, run anytitle deleter (on 249 as you have this)be very careful not to remove anything other than 222, 223 - then install hermes 222v5(base 38), 223v4 (base 37 merged 38) and 224v5 (Base 57) Wads using the program in your mod pack

Warriors of rock will only work on 223!

haha yeah I did that before you answered, but thanks! I didn't do the anytitle deleter step, though. I used the CIOS 222 installer to install it with 37 and 38 merged, and it was done! And set the games to play off of IOS223 :) Thanks for your help though!
