Burning 360 backup to DVD+R DL Retry Failed - Reason: Invalid Address For Write

Alright I am using a LH-20A1L Liteon drive with Windata dvd+r dl.
I fully understand that windata is not the best and verbatim is but my friend uses these windatas and they are about 30x cheaper and they work for him with rarely a fail.
for me.. I have only been successful 3 out of like 13 dvds lol because of this stupid error I have below.
I have tried multiple images to burn and still this bloody error keeps coming!!
Is my drive not the best for burning dual layers? I read one of these LH-20A1 drives was one of the best but not sure if it was the one I have.. I will go buy a new drive if this one sucks, I really want to get these windata dvds to work because my friend burns em no problem and I really hate paying the high price for verbatims
Any idea why this error keeps happening? I have updated the firmware from lite-ons website, not sure if it actually took the upgrade but it sure seemed like it did lol HELP!!
