number of passes CCE

hi

what is the optimum number of passes when using rebuilder and CCE to change down from 8gb to 4.5 gb

i thought it was 2/3 4 at the most

but i just read something that says 6 min !!!

It's possible, but unlikely, a third pass will improve quality a tiny amount which you may or may not notice. I've seen plenty of claims there is a difference past that, but never any proof.

good so its as i thought for years with dvd 3 it enough

i guess if one was using cce to encode uncompressed avi containing digital graphic picture then may be more passes could be noticed
