    You'll have to translate and add the timings.
    The start and end time that each line should
    be on the screen.
    The SRT subtitle format is very simple, just plain text.
    Here's an example.

    1
    00:01:17,391 --> 00:01:22,021
    There is mist over the hills,

    2
    00:01:22,631 --> 00:01:26,624
    It raises mist over the hills.

    Your original post doesn't state whether or not you speak
    french. The answer to the question, and the proper context,
    depends on that info.

    If you can find the subs in another language,
    put it through an internet automatic translator, clean it up,
    and you should be done.

    If you can't find ANY subs, but you can speak french, you can write out
    all the dialogue and do your french > English translation.
    Surely, this is obvious ?

    Have you checked the sub sites for this movie?
    As I mentioned, even if you can't find English, you can download
    something else and attempt to put it through one of the
    online translators and create it that way.

    Yes, I have checked every subtitle site out there and I've found nothing. I was wondering if I couls send the audio to a translater or if the was software (google) for example and then type out the english subs with Subtitle Workshop? Thanks

    Good luck with it. It's going to take a lot of work.
